Alarming Figures of Individuals Now Use E-Cigarettes, States Global Health Organization

"In response to this strong progress, the tobacco business is resisting with new nicotine devices, aggressively targeting young people. Authorities must respond quicker and stronger in implementing established tobacco-control measures," he continued.
The e-cigarette numbers are an approximation since numerous countries - 109 in sum, and many in Africa and South-East Asia - fail to collect data.
Based on the report, as of this past February this period, at least 86 million e-cigarette individuals were mature individuals, primarily in wealthy nations.
And at minimum 15 million youth aged 13 and 15 currently engage in vaping, according to studies from 123 states.

Frequency of tobacco usage among women dropped the largest - from 11% in 2010 to 6.6% in 2024.
For men, the decrease was from 41.4% in 2010 to 32.5% in 2024.
But 20% of mature individuals internationally yet uses tobacco.
